Notes
'Lime Phosphate' peony (Paeonia 'Lime Phosphate') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant double blooms open light lime green and fade to cream as they age. Roger F. Anderson bred it. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Polish Spirit clematis.
