Notes

'Limelight' sage (Salvia mexicana 'Limelight') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn, and its fragrant flowers attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Green Velvet buxus.
