Notes

'Lissilv' caryopteris (Caryopteris clandonensis 'Lissilv') is a shrub for borders, containers, and xeriscape gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Violet blue flowers open from early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Black-eyed Susan, Stonecrop, and Feather reed grass.
