Notes

'Splendens' bloody geranium (Geranium sanguineum 'Splendens') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Empress Wu hosta, and Nodding onion.
