Notes

'Little Patty’s Plum' oriental poppy (Papaver orientale 'Little Patty’s Plum') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It forms a clumping mound 12 to 24 inches tall and blooms in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Columbine, Paprika yarrow, and Bridal Crown daffodil.
