Notes

'Prince of Orange' oriental poppy (Papaver orientale 'Prince of Orange') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It forms a clumping mound and tolerates drought. Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
