Notes

'Little Princess' spirea (Spiraea japonica 'Little Princess') is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy or clay soil. It blooms in spring and summer, and the fragrant flowers attract butterflies. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. The dense, fast growing shrub also shows fall color.

Pairs well with Maiden grass, Sarah Bernhardt peony, and Queen of Night tulip.
