Notes
'Lloyd Kennedy' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lloyd Kennedy') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large white double flowers have a sulphur glow in the center and bloom in late spring. Each stem carries one bud, and the buds open slowly. William Henry Krekler bred it.
Pairs well with Dog's tooth violet, Royal fern, and Spanish bluebell.
