Notes

'Loch Ness' blackberry (Rubus fruticosus 'Loch Ness') is a fruit for fresh eating, jams, jellies, and pies. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It is a thornless blackberry, so picking is easy. White flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. Large, glossy berries ripen in mid summer and balance sweet with tart.

Pairs well with Rose of sharon, Foxglove, and Blue fescue.
