Notes
'Lorch' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lorch') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double blooms are large and white, with a cream center and a fine rose scent. Flowers open in mid to late spring and early summer. Max Josef Goos bred it.
Pairs well with Iris, Sedge, and Ostrich fern.
