Notes

'Lord Bacchus' peony (Paeonia 'Lord Bacchus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The ruffled pink double flowers are fragrant and fade to light pink. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The upright stems do not need support.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Blazing star, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Blue grama.
