Notes

'Lotus Bloom' peony (Paeonia 'Lotus Bloom') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its big, flat, semi-double flowers are light pink and fragrant, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Professor Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Blue grama, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Red twig dogwood.
