Notes
'Louise Lossing' peony (Paeonia 'Louise Lossing') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The double white flowers are fragrant, with faint yellow and rose tints inside and small rosettes around the guard petals. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Mrs. Evelyn Lossing bred it.
Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Charles Joly lilac, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Pyrethrum.
