Notes

'Lpdc Podaras' bush honeysuckle (Diervilla sessilifolia 'Lpdc Podaras') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, hedges, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. Fragrant blooms open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It forms an arching mound 24 to 36 inches tall and wide. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Cheyenne Spirit echinacea, Prairie dropseed, and Rose.
