Notes
'Lucrèce' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lucrèce') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are lilac pink with a blush center and yellow shading. Jacques Calot bred it, so it makes a lovely choice for cutting.
Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Prairie dropseed, and Black Hero tulip.
