Notes

'Lucy Inez' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lucy Inez') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, globular blooms are light pink with a few stamens mixed in, and they open in mid spring. Gilbert H. Wild and Son introduced it in 1954.

Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Black Hero tulip, and Spotted dead nettle.
