Notes
'Lucy Shaylor' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lucy Shaylor') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double flowers have pure white, waved outer petals and a cream center. Shaylor bred it, and it blooms from mid to late spring into early summer.
Pairs well with Prairie dropseed, Spotted dead nettle, and Black Hero tulip.
