Notes

'Lula Marie' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Lula Marie') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large double flowers open in deep old-rose pink in late spring. Gilbert S. Richmond bred it, and it blooms late in the midseason.

Pairs well with Fire and Ice hosta, Grape hyacinth, and Blue grama.
