Notes

'Madame Julia Correvon' clematis (Clematis 'Madame Julia Correvon') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Francisque Morel bred it, and the red flowers have yellow stamens that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Give it a trellis to climb.

Pairs well with Limelight hydrangea, Little bluestem, and Green Spice coral bells.
