Notes

'Madame Lemoinier' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Madame Lemoinier') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large double blooms open in mid to late spring. The flowers are pale old-rose-pink with a lavender tinge and crimson flecks in the center. They have a fair fragrance and sit on tall, erect stems.

Pairs well with African Queen lily, Prairie dropseed, and Maiden pink.
