Notes

'Magellan Scarlet' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Magellan Scarlet') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It grows fast and stands upright. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Diablo cosmos, Gummy Bear sunflower, and Red fescue.
