Notes

'Gummy Bear' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Gummy Bear') is an annual for borders, containers, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows fast and stays short, with yellow flowers in summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Apricot Lemonade cosmos, Peach Melba nasturtium, Cerise Queen yarrow, and Red fescue.
