Notes

'Magic Cup' peony (Paeonia 'Magic Cup') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows up to 33 inches tall and bears big, fragrant, pale pink single flowers that draw butterflies and bees. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Sedge, Queen of Night tulip, and Limelight hydrangea.
