Notes
'Magnifica' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Magnifica') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double white flowers have a yellowish center. It stays short, so it fits well near the front of a bed. Auguste Joseph Miellez bred it.
Pairs well with Iris, Sum and Substance hosta, Quick Fire panicle hydrangea, and Western sword fern.
