Notes

'Majestic Throne' peony (Paeonia 'Majestic Throne') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its white semi-double blooms are fragrant and have ruffled inner petals, and the upright plants reach 24 inches without support. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Swenson Gardens bred it.

Pairs well with Hosta, Little bluestem, and Polish Spirit clematis.
