Notes

'Majestic Treat' peony (Paeonia 'Majestic Treat') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The fragrant, purplish blooms are semi-double to double and sit one per stem. Upright growth to 24 inches needs no support.

Pairs well with Hosta, Little bluestem, Woolly yarrow, and Quick Fire panicle hydrangea.
