Notes

'Majesty’s Crimson' peony (Paeonia 'Majesty’s Crimson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Each upright, self-supporting stem grows to 30 inches and carries one single crimson red flower. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Stella de Oro daylily, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Royal Standard hosta.
