Notes

Majesty's Scepter peony (Paeonia Majesty's Scepter) is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Roger F. Anderson bred it. The fragrant semi-double flowers open rosy pink, then fade through blush pink to cream. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Eastern columbine, and Black Hero tulip.
