Notes

'Majesty’s Star' peony (Paeonia 'Majesty’s Star') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The semi-double salmon pink flowers fade to soft blush and grow 8 inches wide, one per stem. Roger F. Anderson bred it, and the upright plant grows to 28 inches without support.

Pairs well with Blue Angel hosta, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Blue grama.
