Notes
'Major A.M. Krekler' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Major A.M. Krekler') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its pure white double flowers are large and long lasting. The strong stems reach about four feet, and the large leaves are dark green. John M. Johnson of Indiana originated it.
