Notes

'Mammoth' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Mammoth') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its deep pink flowers have a darker center, which gives each bloom a rich look. You can cut the blooms and bring them indoors for a vase. Émile Rodigas bred it.

Pairs well with Inkberry, Sedge, and Monkshood.
