Notes

'Mandarin Ice' rose (Rosa 'Mandarin Ice') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The upright shrub grows 28 to 31 inches tall and has dark green leaves. Orange-red blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and into early autumn. Tim-Hermann Kordes bred it in 2008, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Blue fescue, and Buckeye Belle peony.
