Notes

'Marcella' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Marcella') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Eugene H. Lins bred it. The double white blooms open in mid to late spring and early summer. Each high built flower sits on good stems of medium height above dark green foliage.

Pairs well with Arizona Sun blanket flower, Black Parrot tulip, and African Queen lily.
