Notes
'Marginata' hosta (Hosta 'Marginata') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. Its fragrant flowers bloom from early to late summer. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Fernleaf peony, Blue wood aster, and Canada wild rye.
