Notes

'Marie Laurencin' peony (Paeonia 'Marie Laurencin') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The rose-pink blooms have red shading and a silvery reverse, and they open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies visit the flowers, and Nassos Daphnis bred it.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Jackmanii clematis, and Calendula.
