Notes

'Martha Bulloch' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Martha Bulloch') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The tall, upright plants carry fragrant rose-pink blooms with seashell-pink outer petals and silvery shading. Butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Armenian cranesbill, Globemaster allium, and Foxglove.
