Notes
'Martha A. Twyman' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Martha A. Twyman') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears double pink flowers in mid to late spring. The plant stays rather dwarf, but its stems are only fair, so you may want to give the blooms some support. Wettengel bred it.
Pairs well with Lady's mantle, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Sedge.
