Notes
'Mary Louise' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mary Louise') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large pink blossoms have long petals in two rows, with white edges and tips. Tall, strong, erect stems hold the full blooms up well. Mrs. Walter Campbell Lyman bred it.
Pairs well with Perennial candytuft, Ox-eye daisy, and Carnaval De Nice tulip.
