Notes

'Masked Ball' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Masked Ball') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant double pink flowers open in mid to late season, and the outer petals fade to white while the center stays pink. Plants grow upright to 30 inches and need no support.

Pairs well with Annabelle hydrangea, Spanish bluebell, and Sensitive fern.
