Notes

'Maud L. Richardson' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Maud L. Richardson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large double flowers are light rose-pink with a flesh-pink glow at the base of the petals. They open late and smell strong and sweet. Tall stems hold the blooms well, and the foliage looks good too.

Pairs well with Sedge, Carlton daffodil, and Maltese cross.
