Notes

'Meadow Brook' peony (Paeonia 'Meadow Brook') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Cream blooms with rose red edging that darkens toward the center open in early to late spring. Butterflies visit the flowers, and Derek Irvine bred it. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Blue fescue, Nelly Moser clematis, and Lily.
