Notes
Meadow rue (Thalictrum squarrosum) is a perennial for naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall and spreads 24 to 48 inches, so give it plenty of room. Yellow-green flowers open in mid to late summer. Put it at the back of a border or meadow, where the tall stems have space.
Pairs well with Wild bergamot, Ornamental onion, and Knotweed.
