Notes
'Mignon' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Mignon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The double blooms open light pink and fade to cream, with golden yellow stamens and a rich rose-like fragrance. Victor Lemoine bred it. Stems are strong, and the plant has good foliage.
Pairs well with Lilac, Sedge, and Grape hyacinth.
