Notes

'Milk Chocolate' small-flowered foxglove (Digitalis parviflora 'Milk Chocolate') is a perennial. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Spikes of burgundy-red to brownish red, bell-shaped flowers rise to about two feet tall in early to late summer, and bees visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. This foxglove will self seed gently, so it may pop up in new spots.

Pairs well with Purrsian Blue nepeta, Gardenia peony, Cheerfulness daffodil, and Foxtail barley.
