Notes

Small-flowered foxglove (Digitalis parviflora) is a perennial for borders and low-maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit the flowers. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Moonshine yarrow, Silver feather grass, and Fireball avens.
