Notes

'Million Dollar Blue' delphinium (Delphinium elatum 'Million Dollar Blue') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Its erect stems reach 24 to 36 inches tall and bloom from early to late summer. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Bee balm, and Lanceleaf coreopsis.
