Notes
'Mime' peony (Paeonia 'Mime') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large single flowers open creamy yellow flushed pink and fade to white. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms.
Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Stargazer lily, and Western sword fern.
