Notes

'Mine d’Or' peony (Paeonia 'Mine d’Or') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Fragrant yellow blooms open in early to late spring and attract butterflies. Victor Lemoine & Sons bred it. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with False indigo, Toad lily, and Korean spice viburnum.
