Notes

'Mineru' rose of sharon (Hibiscus syriacus 'Mineru') is a shrub for borders, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet soil of most types. It grows fast, handles drought and salt, and draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it room to reach its full size.

Pairs well with Pittosporum, Fourwing saltbush, and Shasta daisy.
