Notes
'Minuet' spiked speedwell (Veronica spicata 'Minuet') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Pink flower spikes open from early to late summer and attract butterflies and bees. It forms a tidy clump 12 to 18 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Red Charm peony, and Casa Blanca lily.
